Stop Gaelic=Irish Confusion Part 2

So that's my explanation for explaining why saying "Gaelic" for Irish is wrong: It's practically like asking an American if they speak Germanic. Of course I mean English as it is one of the most widespread Germanic languages but that still doesn't justify lumping every single Germanic language together. Germanic languages include England, German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Swedish, etc. And lets be reasonable, have you ever met someone who can speak all those languages fluently?

That's the bottom line for why its wrong to think Gaelic=Irish. Gaelic is a family of languages. True, there are only three living languages, making it a rather small family, but it still is a family, not one language. Hope this was informative and thanks for reading!
