Description
Originally England was just going to be a Thoroughbred centaur because when I think of an English horse breed, the Thoroughbred is the first that comes to my mind. But then I thought the breed was perhaps too recent, didn’t fit England completely and I wanted a breed that was more endemic to him. So I opted for him to be a cross between a New Forest pony and a Thoroughbred horse. That way he has the personality of a pony but maintains the agility (and competitive aggressiveness) of a Thoroughbred. Alternatively I could also see him being a British Spotted pony but that was more of an excuse to draw little England with that pony counterpart. I also changed the colour I use for England’s hair, I got bothered with how yellow and unrealistic it looked so I tweaked the colour to look closer to the canon colour.
Arthur is a bit of a hot-headed centaur, convinced of the superiority of his leadership skills compared to Alasdair's and completely frustrated that no one else in the herd is willing to acknowledge his skills. Other centaurs have attempted, with little success, to inform him that no one would want to see him become lead stallion because of his temper and a very visible thirst for power that inspires confidence in no one. He hides behind the thirst for power a big insecurity over his self-worth that stemmed from a childhood of teasing over his small stature and meek personality. He was a runt among the other foal children and though Rigantona made sure that no escalation to bullying occurred when the other children teased Arthur, he still grew up with a desire to prove himself to others. He is a very aggressive fighter and puts all his force behind his attacks during battle. However, as a result, he is one of the few centaurs who needs a shield because he puts so much momentum in his attack that he doesn't give himself any room to dodge attacks. Some centaurs such as Alasdair and Rigantona worry over Arthur as he has a very quick temper and gets on with the rest of the herd with a lot of difficulty. It's not certain whether he will at one point leave the herd and choose the life of a loner or if he will stay in the herd and address the emotional injuries he's carried with him since his childhood.

England's personality is caused by being damaged (tsundere), so it's no surprise that in any AU, he needs to be broken to bits first xD
